Welcome to the Pyrate Llama Recording Studio website. We are located on a charming farm near Sheridan (10 Miles South West of McMinnville). The landscape here is beautiful and inspiring. If you're looking to get out into the country and record some music, this is the place.
The Pyrate Llama sound consists of vintage sounding pre-amps and microphones recorded through state of the art analog to digital converters. We bring the best of both worlds, vintage lush warmth with the incredible detail of modern recording.
Our optimal work hours are 12pm-8pm for full day sessions - but we are flexible. For just a few hours we can book almost anytime, possibly even late night. If you would like to set up a time to check out the studio just contact us and we'll be happy to schedule a viewing.
Our current rate is only $20 per hour, this goes for tracking, mixing and mastering. Don't let the low price fool you, the sound quality is amazing. Click on the music tab above for samples of recordings.
