Jon Dark - Owner/Producer/Engineer
Recording music started out as a hobby of mine about 20 years ago. I first used 2 boom boxes faced towards each other while playing the guitar, and overdubbing vocals. Then I found out about 4 track tape recorders, and I was hooked. I kept recording, and started collecting drum machines and synthesizers. I became obsessed with electronic music and wen't synth/midi crazy and really started focusing on production and recording.
I Moved to San Francisco and formed a band with my friends and devoted myself to music. My drummer was a professional drummer, and my bass player was not only great, but a professional audio engineer and producer. I absorbed any information I could get from both of them. We produced demo after demo, track after track, and constantly experimented with recording and production.
Jaded with the corporate world I quit my job and finally started following my passion - recording music. I started working at my bass players recording studio, and really learned how to run a session. I was lucky to have great teachers, mentors, and friends in the music business.
In the winter of 2009 my back went out on me, I couldn't walk for months, not even with crutches. I lost almost everything I had and moved up to this farm to heal. It was a blessing in disguise. I slowly healed and transformed this old funky barn into a very cool recording studio. I opened the studio in February 2011 with a minimal setup in a barn, and have transformed it into a truly unique studio, still in a barn.

Kevin Elmore - Producer/Engineer/Composer
Kevin Elmore grew up breathing the music of Beethoven, Handel, and Johnny Cash. Enamored with the idea of a single person on a stool with a guitar, Kevin began playing the guitar at age 8. During high school, Kevin studied with composer and opera coach Christopher Lacy. Existing in the outskirts of the the arts scene in Kansas City, Missouri, Lawrence, Kansas, and later Portland, Oregon, Kevin finished his undergraduate studies at Western Oregon University with Kevin Walczyk and Arnold Friedman. He continued there as a graduate student with Keller Coker, and William Whitley. His music has been performed by the Willamette Falls Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Mark Perlman in Oregon City, Oregon. He has been in several rock bands and played with and arranged for the Carroll Raaum Swing Orchestra in Portland, Oregon.
